Job Summary
Mobile Service Technicians will complete air conditioning service, automotive repairs, on site scanning support, wire repairs and diagnostics within their market area.
Roles & Responsibilities
Customer service focused, ability to develop relationships and deliver operational consistency
Perform Air Conditioning Evacuation & Recharge
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical repairs
Understand and complete estimating, invoicing, part identification, pre and post quality control checklists
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and repair planning needs to include shop personnel, insurance adjusters, and customers
Utilize various tools, diagnostic equipment, and Virtual support team resources to make the most effective recommendations
Test drive vehicles after repairs are completed
Check all parts for quality and accuracy before installing
Complete assigned training and certifications, to include continuing education courses
Communicate with field team to ensure efficiency and productivity
Maintain a well-organized work area
Responsible for ensuring tooling software updates are completed immediately
Accountable for assigned inventory
Including: Laptops, OE scan tools, VCI, other equipment provided
Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships through our company purpose and core values
Qualifications, Education & Experience:
Minimum of 3 years automotive repair experience
Trade school experience a plus
ASE or I-CAR certifications a plus
Knowledge of diagnostic scan tools and factory software
Obtain AC certification & follow safety standards
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Knowledge and ability to use computers, mobile devices, and related technology efficiently
Self -motivated, positive attitude, with a customer focused vision
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR check
Ability to pass a background check
Must be able to lift 60 pounds independently
Travel may be required for continuing education and certification training
Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping
Requires frequent driving of company and customer vehicles
Extensive travel within assigned area is expected
May have exposure to fumes, dust, and chemicals
Ability to work in a shop environment in inclement weather
Required to wear PPE to include but not limited to facial covering, eye protection, gloves
