
Warehouse Manager Protech Fleet

Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ensure timely and accurate distribution of parts and equipment to service centers and mobile technicians
- Optimize workflows to improve throughput, reduce cycle times, and eliminate bottlenecks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
-Warehouse will support Glass, Fleet/CarBodyLab, and Protech van upfitting and equipment fulfilling
Inventory Management
- Own inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes
- Implement best-in-class inventory controls for high-value calibration tools and parts
- Monitor stock levels and partner with procurement to prevent shortages or overstock
- Reduce shrinkage, obsolescence, and excess inventory
Fleet & Field Support Enablement
- Ensure rapid fulfillment of parts and equipment required for fleet repair and maintenance
- Support mobile ProTech technicians with timely delivery of calibration tools and components
- Coordinate logistics for urgent or same-day operational needs
Process Improvement & Scalability
- Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs)
- Identify and deploy process improvements to support multi-site scaling
- Leverage data and KPIs to continuously improve performance
- Partner with technology teams to implement WMS or inventory tracking systems
Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop warehouse staff
- Establish clear roles, expectations, and performance standards
- Drive a high-performance, accountability-based culture
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet demand fluctuations
-Span of control – 3 to 5 direct reports, depending on what is identified. Currently there is a Lead role underneath, but may not be permanent
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce all safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions
- Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and materials
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Inventory accuracy (%)
- Order fulfillment time / cycle time
- On-time delivery to field / centers
- Shrinkage / loss rates
- Warehouse cost per unit distributed
- Technician downtime due to parts availability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of warehouse or distribution center management experience
- Experience in automotive, fleet, or technical equipment distribution preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS)
- Proven ability to scale operations and improve processes
- Experience supporting field service or multi-location operations is a plus
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience with ADAS, calibration tools, or automotive parts distribution
- Familiarity with fleet operations or repair/maintenance supply chains
- Experience implementing or optimizing warehouse technology systems
Leadership Profile
- Operationally rigorous and detail-oriented
- Bias for action with strong problem-solving capability
- Ability to build scalable systems and processes
- Strong communicator who partners effectively across operations, procurement, and field teams
- No management of operating budget defined at this time.
